Project Overview
Smitox is one of India's growing B2B wholesale platforms, connecting retailers directly with manufacturers and distributors. They needed a mobile app that could handle complex bulk ordering workflows, real-time inventory updates, and secure payment processing.
We built a comprehensive Flutter application that streamlined the entire B2B purchase journey — from product discovery and bulk pricing to order tracking and invoice generation.
The app serves thousands of retailers across India, processing hundreds of orders daily with sub-second response times and 99.9% uptime.
The Challenge
The existing ordering process was manual — phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and spreadsheets. This led to order errors, delayed fulfillments, and no real-time visibility into inventory or order status. Smitox needed a mobile-first solution that could digitize the entire B2B workflow while being simple enough for non-tech-savvy retailers.
Our Approach
We chose Flutter for cross-platform development to maximize reach. The backend was built on Firebase for real-time data sync, with custom REST APIs for complex business logic like dynamic pricing, bulk discounts, and inventory management. We implemented a clean, card-based UI that made navigating thousands of SKUs feel effortless.
